In March we traveled to Phoenix to stay at the Legacy Golf Resort. This was no ordinary trip. We were attending our annual family reunion; however, this was the first reunion after the deaths of both my brother and eldest sister. As you can imagine, this was an important event for the family and many people attended who were unable to attend in previous years. My sister-in-law (wife of my deceased brother) and her four adult daughters, her son, his wife, their two children, my sister, her husband and daughter, her eldest daughter, husband, and two young children, our youngest daughter, and her sister, husband, and two children. In all we had 23 people staying at the Legacy in six suites. I was fortunate to have enough points to pull it off to include the rental car.
Even with the points it would never have happened without the SVC and Legacy Staff helping us arrange the reservations and the rooms' locations before arrival. Naturally, not everyone arrived or departed on the same dates, so that presented its own set of challenges in getting everyone in close proximity to one another. The professionalism and demeanor of the staff was first class all the way. It allowed us to bring together a family that had been struck by two separate tragedies to reflect and bond in a way that would just not have been possible without the help of the Legacy and the SVC Staff. I work in the corporate world with professional meeting planners and can say with confidence the SVC and Legacy Staff are second to none. Thank you for all of your assistance and going the extra mile. It is especially comforting knowing the staff did everything they did without the knowledge of the events that brought us all together. It is a trip everyone continues to talk about today and created memories which will last a lifetime.
