A very pleasant and worthwhile place.

I had some 2 for 1 coupons and decided to try a new place for dinner. My partner and I looked at the menu on line and thought we would give it a try. We both opted for the Mixed Seafood Grill, scallops, prawns and halibut with creole rice and chorizo maque choux at the regular price of $19.95. The portions were very generous, the sourdough bread and cornbread muffins were very tasty and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive. The flavors all blended well together and the chorizo maque choux has a little kick that is a very pleasant kick.

Using the 2 for 1 coupon made this an excellent value and at full price it would still be worth the value. The tables are large, they have outdoor seating available, the decor has a New Orleans jazz feel to it and it seems that they are going to start having live music twice a week. Because of the location in San Diego parking should be very easy on the street at almost anytime. I have to say that I was truly pleased with this dining experience... on a scale of 1 to 10 this is a strong 9.
