Well-maintained property in great northside location immediately off I-95. Many casual dining options within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and eager to please, although Marriott Platinum members beware—hotel often fails to credit me with my 500 mile arrival bonus, and repeated calls to management and staff are futile. The concierge lounge is pleasant, but evening meals are always meager w/ lots of fried, doughy wrapped things and little else. Breakfasts are better. Spacious rooms are cheerful and well-appointed. Convention and cruise business can take up lots of rooms, so reserve early.

Great downtown location, convenient to government center and many downtown businesses. After work, it's a short walk to the Bayside complex, which features many touristy restaurants, or across the drawbridge to nearby Brickell-area establishments, such as famous Tobacco Road bar. Safe area w/ People Mover stop at Hyatt next door.

Property itself is satisfactory. Wifi only in the lobby, no free coffee or tea, and lower rooms are noisy from street traffic. Sometimes can hear noise from adjacent rooms. But the rooms are spacious, and the parking is convenient and not a major rip-off at $15 per day.

Great property and great location about 1/2 mile walk to train that runs to Government Center downtown. Great feeling of privacy in rooms and halls. Rooms are spacious, although some are starting to show signs of needing some freshening up. Location is a few minutes' walk from Coconut Grove with all the restaurants, shops, bars, etc. Very safe area at any hour. Excellent breakfasts and some of the evening meals are good. Lobby-only wifi. Rooms are a little pricey, especially when they think they are going to sell out.Residence Inn is my favorite Marriott concept, and this is one of my favorite Residence Inns. I find it easier to relax and unwind in Residence Inns, and in this one in particular...Read More
