We had heard that the Oregon Coast was beautiful when stormy, so we took a chance and booked our hotel for a cold week in November. It was true enough - although we weren't brave enough to walk along the beaches in the stormy rain, from our window it was a beautiful view that we could not turn away from for the duration of our trip.
