A laid back, fishing village but with great vacationing potentials. It's a secret paradise.

Land Ho!
When we got there, I noticed the most beautiful and most "star studded" night sky I have ever seen in my entire life. The kind you only see in planetariums, which you never imagine could be possible seeing with the naked eye. In the daytime, we spotted at least three large tortoises. One even went just about 2 feet away from our boat as it swam past us. The corals were awesome! The colors were varied that somehow managed to compliment each other. The water was so clear that one could see what lie 50 feet below.

Quick Tips:

Bring your fishing gear, swimming wear, and diving gear. Don't forget your sunblock as most boats do not have shade. Bring enough water and food since apart from the hotels that are located on the main island, there are no restaurants or even grocery stores in Port Barton. Bring coals, tongs, and other things for barbecuing. But be sure to tidy up after.

Best Way To Get Around:

Hire a boat. Don't miss this because the chance of seeing everything will depend on it. You should arrange for one to fetch you a day before you go island hopping. I suggest you leave at 4am so you could go fishing for your own breakfast.

Very good. The food taste superb, specially the shrimp, which was served steamed with a dip made from vinegar, chili, and garlic. But we weren't able to get the lobster dish we were craving for because they said we should tell them the night before so they could get it at the market for our dish.
