I travel a lot on business to Rockford Il. This trip I traveled with a business associate, she and I stayed at a Travel Lodge On State St. Returning to our room after a business day we found cocaine in a bag in our hotel room. We notified the front desk who seemed non concern. I had to demand to call the police to remove the drugs. When I returned home I made a complaint to Travel Lodge corporate offices only to be told someone would contact me in 7 business days. That was over two weeks ago and still no call. I don't advise anyone to stay at Travel Lodges as obviously they do not care about customer service nor if their guests are safe in their rooms. After finding the drugs we began to check door locks and our window which we discovered was incapable of locking and we were staying on the ground floor. This hotel chain seriously has some issues and I urge travelers to choose their hotels with caution and to avoid the Travel Lodge Chains.
