I only spent three days in San Franciscobut it was enough to see who wonderful this city is.

I took this picture from Twin Peacks...just amazing!
San Francisco is one the cities that I have had the opportunity to visit during my exchange program in America. And I realized how beautiful that city is. With its European style and its variety of cultures makes you believe that you really are a citizen of the world. Sadly I only spent there three nights, but it was enough to discover the major attractions.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

Public transportation is awesome in San Francisco, so nobody should have a problem getting around the city. This is the city with the best public transportation in America!

Hotel Vintage Court

This hotel has the best location ever. It is right in the downtown area. You just have to walk a couple of blocks to be in Liberty Square, where all the shopping is. With all the public transportation around this area, you can easily move to every corner of San Francisco.

Bubba Gumps

Restaurant

Bubba Gump's

My dinner experience was great. The restaurant is located in Pier 39, a great outdoor shopping mall, with tons of stores and restaurants. The restaurant offers a great service, with great views of San Franco's bay.
I really liked the decoration of the place, which has a lot of details from the Forrest Gump. The food they offer is basically seafood, but it also has great options for people who seafood is not their favourite.

Walking the Golden Gate Bridge

Walking the Golden Gate Bridge was great. After a while you can get a little tired but it is worthy. You can have great views of the city and the bay, which will give you the opportunity to take beautiful pictures.

Arrivinf to Alcatraz Island

Alcatraz

You haven't had a complete vacation in San Francisco if you haven't been to Alcatraz Island. The trip starts boarding the boat in the Pier, the trip in the boat can be a little painful, just because of the cold temperatures, but you will survive it with a jacket. As soon as you arrive to the island you can go by your own, or follow the guided tour, which I recommend to do. And latter inside the main building there is an audio tour which will reveal every Alcatraz prison secret to you.

The tower at the University of California at Berkeley.

University of California at Berkeley

Berkeley is a city very nice, but as every university city... it is a little weird. The stores you will find here will basically be related to not mainstream music, and smoking tools. However, the university has a really beautiful architecture and there are also some good restaurants in the area. You can see the whole site in about 2 hours.

Machines that control the whole Cable car system in SF

Cable Car Museum

You will love this place if you are really interesting in cable cars. The only thing I really liked about this museum was the machines that control the whole city's cable cars. When I left I was happy that it was free!

Twin Peaks

Nice observatory where you see almost every single corner of the city. You can also take very nice pictures of the city from here. Just that. You may be a little disappointed for drive all the way up to the peak just for that.

The houses from the TV show

Full House Houses (Postcard Houses)

Full House Victorian Houses are internationally known, but when you arrive there you expect to see a bigger amount of houses more than those that appear in the TV show... but there is not more than those 6 houses. They are very beautiful though.
