A March 2007 trip to Las Vegas by US Traveler
Quote: Las Vegas for a few nights is a relaxing getaway with plenty to do. Take in "Le Reve" at the Wynn or walk around the casinos, checking out the local bands.
Hotel | "HGVC at the Flamingo"
The property shares a wonderful pool with the Flamingo Hotel and also provides a members only pool for HGVC guest. This property is about 11 years old and appeared to be undergoing some renovations. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. They had a breakfast for owners on Monday morning, a great chance to talk with other owners. We had a one-bedroom that overlooked the pool area.
The parking garage located nearby worked out great. Valet parking was only $6, but we chose to self-park. Traffic around the Strip is always congested, so walking is the preferred method. Also, the monorail station is right on the property, so there's a great way to move around if the walking is too much.
Our next visit will be at the HGVC on the Strip, located north of Circus Circus. We toured this property, and it was very nice as well. I would gladly stay at HGVC at the Hilton again, another fine property. I can almost always find a room in Vegas with HGVC.
