The Grand Mayan in Acapulco has a problem with mold and mildew my room was sprayed 3 times in the week I was there. They would not move me, they said it was full. When you arrive there is no salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, or paper towels. To go to the Walmart it will cost you $10 round trip for 1 1/2 miles, there is no bus service.
There is no outside hot tub; you have to go to the spa and it has a cost. The food and drink were high end $4.50 beer $9.50 mixed drink, the food was good, breakfast buffet was the best at $13, dinner was high end too. The resort tour or sales pitch was relentless, they tried 4 people on me 2 hours. "JUST SAY NO." This resort is beautiful, the grounds and pool are beautiful, the cleaning staff are great so is the two girls Shelly and Tonya that represent RCI. They are very informative and helpful. If you have money and get a clean smelling room avoid the sales pitch you will enjoy your stay. I have been with RCI since 1984 and I have traveled quite a bit I won't go back to this resort.
