A February 2007 trip

Quote: St-Alexandre is a small farming village located near St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, half way between the US border and Montreal.
L'Angeluc is a family run restaurant located in St-Alexandre. This restaurant requires reservations and is usually reserved at least one year in advance. The average price per person is about $50 including taxes and tip. This restaurant has a permit allowing patrons to bring their own wine, which the waitress will serve for the customer. The quality of the service is out of this world. The staff are extremely attentive. The restaurant is in a revamped old turn of the century home. It is on two floors, with a private dining room for parties. There is a patio outside for warm summer evenings. It is open for dinner (evenings) everyday except Mondays. The meals consist of steaks, seafood, or fowl and most meals consist of 6 courses. The restaurant is warmly decorated and has apparently won many culinary awards, according to the plaques on the wall in the lobby.
