Grandview is located at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd, about a 10-minute drive farther south from Mandalay. Bing said as long as you don't feel like you need to be right in the middle of all the happening in/on the strip, it is a good location and it is also very close to the Las Vegas Outlets formerly know as Bells Outlets.Check in is fairly simple and fast. People are very courteous and helpful. They do offer several free shows or discounts to shows if you attend their owners meetings (let them attempt to sell you a timeshare). If you do buy (I am an owner here) Grandview operates on points so make sure you ask for points and also it has the highest point exchange in Vegas....Read More

The Cliffs are a nice resort... BUT... There always seems to be a but, doesn't  there? I'll start with the good. Check-in is very smooth and fast. The service is very friendly and helpful. All the place is very clean with the basic amenities that you would expect from a timeshare in Vegas. Pool with spa, pooltable and exercise room. One nice thing that they do have is an outdoor fireplace that you can congregate with other people. It is also a gated community so there is that added safety of needing a key to get in the premises at night. The rooms are nice and nicely acquainted. We had a 2-bedroom unit. All the furnishing were quite nice, the appliances were top no...Read More

Located along the I-15 south of the strip, this local casino is one of my favorites in Vegas. It has just underwent a huge face lift in the past few years to make it more appealing and modern. The Casino itself is more than comparable to any of the local casino in the types of machines and variety of table games there. With better odds ate machines available in these smaller local casino's compared to the ones on the Strip. The ambience is nice, pleasant, and not too crowded even on weekends.Rooms and check-in is fairly simple and quaint. But have seen suites get a pretty good FACELIFT making it more modern and equipped with a huge Jacuzzi tub. But I have only seen this sec...Read More

If you like sushi and Japanese seafood this is the place for you.It is located in the shopping complex on the northwest corner of Flamingo and Decatur. The easiest ways to get there would be either the Flamingo exit of the I15 and continue west until you hit Decatur or from the Decatur exit of the 215, and continue northbound until you hit Flamingo. Personally I prefer using the 215 as it is not as busy as the I-10. This place has sushi for days, any type that you can literally think of. Unagi (eel) is wonderful thing for first timers to try. They have both batter fried and regular steamed. This is a great place even if you have people in your party that don't like sushi as it ...Read More

Fremont Street Experience

A nice little area in the old downtown Vegas. But has its only appeal and a necessary place to visit for first timers to Vegas. Fremont street is actually a walkway area that is home to one of the biggest light shows canopies in the US and stretches several blocks. The light show goes every hour and is open to the public and has Las Vegas themes to it. It is quite interesting to see... the first time but after a while it gets a little annoying since everything on Fremont Street stops during these shows. But it is cool no the less.It is also home to several casinos and hotels (Fitzgeralds and, Binion for a few examples). These smaller casinos tend to have lower house edges on the slot and video...Read More
