A January 2007 trip to Nuevo Vallarta by HoosierGrandma

We stayed at the Grand Mayan and saw some wonderful sights in Puerto Vallarta.

This is a very clean and spacious resort with great accommodations. The pool area is superb and the people who work there are great. There are many on-site restaurants, and we liked Samba and the beach bar the best. The bars located in the pools are great too. After being very firm (five times), we found that they finally accepted that we were not interested in more timeshares.

The rooms are kept very clean with maid service every day. In fact, they changed the sheets on all beds every day. This resort is kind of out-of-the-way for walking anywhere, but they have buses and taxis.

If you had young children, they would never want to leave the resort. A lazy river and Kids Quest were on-site, and they even have a pool set up strictly for young children by the Kid's Quest. We highly recommend this resort.
