Great escape from high price commercial lodgings. It was fabulous inside, probably the cleanest hostel I have ever slept in, and the decor has to be seen to be believed. It was like a home away from home, delightful and relaxing. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable and, based on my experience, know more about the ins and outs of the area, especially in terms of hidden hiking areas, than anyone else I have encountered in New Paltz. Great stay and very highly recommended.
