I stayed at this hotel on a trip to the coast. We made reservations a few hours before we arrived. We asked if they were running any specials and they said they were offering their suites for $109 a night. They normally run around $150 or so. We arrived at the hotel and were surprised to see that they had all their suites in one building and the regular rooms in another. When we got to our room we were really happy with what we saw. You walk in and there’s a vanity and the bathroom to the side. The bathroom was a good size and had a television mounted on the wall. I’ve never been in a hotel with a television in the bathroom and thought that was pretty cool. Then there is a section that has the two ...Read More

This casino is a pretty decent casino. They had a ton of slots, which is what my husband and me like to play, anything from penny slots on up. They also have card tables here but I’m not sure of what games they offer because we don’t play cards. They also have a nice little food court that has good food for not an outrageous price. We lost when we played the night we were there but won our money back plus some when we went the next morning. I want to warn you that the casino is pretty far from the hotel/resort. I think I remember them offering shuttles but am not positive because we drove over. Also, the daycare that they provide is in another part of the parking lot in a completely different building...Read More

This is a place we visit whenever we go to Seaside. It’s a candy store filled with 170 different flavors of salt-water taffy. We went around picking out a few of each of the different kinds and putting them in our bag. The price was also fantastic. You get a lot for your money because they do it by pound and the taffy is pretty light. They also sell other candies like Jelly beans, candy sticks, peanut clusters and different kinds of chocolates. They also sell popcorn and ice cream. They have this wheel there that everyone gets a chance to spin. You can win cool stuff and everyone who spins gets a piece of taffy. I would highly recommend checking out this store.

We also stopped by the aquarium to see the animals. It’s not as big as I had imagined and smelled like well and aquarium. They have a section up front where you can feed the seals, which my husband and son enjoyed. Then in the back area are different kinds of fish and sea life. One of the really cool thing they had was a big octopus. This thing was really cool looking and my son loved it. The aquarium is not very stroller friendly. When you walk in after you pay you have to go threw these bar things that only one person can do at a time. You know the ones that go in a circle. So if you have a stroller, you have to use the exit part which has a swinging gate but you end up waiting awhile because people...Read More
