This is a bakery more than a restaurant. You cannot eat inside and you cannot make a reservation. It's the most famous place in Milano for "Panzerotti" a sort of a deep-fried tomato and mozzarella stuffed pie. Just 3 euros but a long queue outside but believe me it's worth!

This is the home of the Rocky Horror picture Show in Milan. Every Friday the film is projected with some live performances in the audience by the superfans of the movie (they all know it by heart and sing-along all the time!).
You get a discount if you wear a Transylvania outfit. This is hilarious believe me, and it has been going on for 26 years now! Book first though!

It is just the coolest new club in Milan. It has a retro design flavor and the nicest people fill in especially at weekends. The entrance is always free and the drinks have a reasonable price. There is always good music, normally great indie rock or electro-clash and some '80s. Live shows now are only acoustic as they had some issues with the neighborhood but in the past (it has only been opened for three years now) many international bands show-cased to the press their records here. Luv it!

Kech presented their second album "Join the Cousins" in here too, and was such a great night!

Parco di Monza

Monza is just 20 minutes outside Milan and that's where I'm from. It is famous for two things: the first is the Formula 1 circuit and the second is the Royal Villa. Behind the Royal Villa there is an immense park worth a visit (the F1 circuit is actually in there too), some giant contemporary art sculptures are temporarily placed there too.

Circolo Magnolia

Magnolia is a very old bar recently revamped and refurbished by a bunch of music loving people. It offers from music classes, soccer matches on the big screen to high level indie rock live performances. Even though it is not at all central, (it is located at the Milan lake area Idroscalo and near Linate Airport), it is the place to go for indie rock. In the summer it also has a huge open air space.
