I never imagined I could see such beautiful sights. As we rode the cable car up the side of Mt. Pilatus we noticed little cottages stringed up and down the mountainside. There were cows in the front yard with their poetic cow bells ringing in the breeze. Once we got to the top there was actually a bar where you could get beer and snack food. This was my first experience drinking at such a high altitude and it quickly went to my head! The clouds would wander in and out of our view but in total the scenery was breathtaking. Some of us even went into some nearby caves and wandered around seeing what there was to explore. For more information check out Contiki.com, who I booked my vacation with.Quick ...Read More

So have you ever heard of the legendary blueballs festival in Lucerne, Switzerland? I have, and even participated! So here is the deal, the blueballs festival happens every year in downtown Lucerne. Everyone strips down to their nitty-gritties and rushes into the lake. I will tell you why you suddenly realize that it is called blueballs. Apparently this tradition started back along time ago to help men restrain themselves till marriage, and the tradtion just carried on. About 25 of us jumped in that night, and by the way it wasn't the correct time of year but we were leaving the next day and wanted to expirience the tradition.
