Los Angeles has been a BIG city to an Asian like me. It sounds so far away yet familiar as most of the American movies involve a lot of settings in this big city. Besides the famous Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Hollywood, which most of the tourists visit, Los Angeles has more to offer. Putting aside all the tourist crowded places above, try to take a stroll along Santa Monica's Palisades Park and shop around 3rd Street Promenade; or walk aroung Little Tokyo to experience the Japanese community. Go beyond Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard to explore the Farmers Market, which offers a great shopping experience and various foods. Or, you may just spend a day at Long Beach and relax....Read More
