Story/Tip

On my recent visit to Egypt, I have encountered some problems, which I would like to share with the readers. First problem was in hotel (4-star) where I misplaced the room key. As they were not willing to replace it without the ridicules charge of $50, I tried to open the door with the credit card. To my amazement it did not took more than one minute. Than to save credit card, I was using nail filer for 3 days, until I found the keys. What a security! I was taking cash advance in the bank in the hotel and the clerk try to shorten me for 5 pounds. His reasoning was, that it was for the phone call he made to secure amount. After heated discussion and when I asked for his name, he gave me those 5 pounds. And now the worst. At Hurghada airport, when my suitcase went through the security check, they pool it back and were looking for quite a time at it. I did not pay much attention to it, but when I arrived to Prague airport, I found out, that my luggage was broken into and money stolen. As my suitcase was one of the first ones on the bell, I am sure it happened in Hurghada. So people, who are responsible for our safety, are working with loading people, advise them which luggage to break into and who knows, what else they are willing to do for money. I consider myself lucky, that I lost money only; they could have put in explosives or drugs. So to sum it up, I would not go to Egypt again... it is not safe!
