A short stay in this wonderful city. Hop-over from Belgium using low-cost flying and bus transfer provided by Ryanair.

A wonderful and brand new hotel near San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. Very beautifully decorated hotel with lots of golden decorations.

Search the Internet for the best price, it may save you lots of euros. Very nice hotel in this price range, must cost a lot more when you compare with other hotels of this standard. We paid €125 for a 1 night stay (breakfast buffet with cold dishes and fresh fruits included).

Had a very good meal in this restaurant which is listed in the red Michelin with two forks. It is expensive but worth doing. We started with a dry Marsala (€8). We ate a little starter of scallops with green apple (€18, shared by both of us). The maître d' proposed us a nice Turbot, weighing 1.3kg, that they prepared for us in a very enjoyable way (€8/100g). A bottle of very good Chardonnay house wine (€18) to complete our meal. Our bill at the end was €180, pricey but good.

Vaporetto

Activity

Enjoy Venice and do not get tired. Simply buy a ticket at the offices. You can find them at every major stop along the vaporetto routes.

You can buy them:
- per route
- per 24/36/48 hours

Hop over—get on land—enjoy, and sail on...

Make sure you get a place at the back, even in wintertime very nice in the sun, and you can take some nice pictures.

Flight with Ryanair

Experience

We flew in from Charleroi (Brussels South) in Belgium. Very good flight and very on time, in Venice and in Brussels South. No bad food or drinks included, but who needs this on such a short flight?

After arriving at your destination you can leave the airport in just a few moments. In Treviso you can buy a 9 euro ticket to take the coach to P. De Roma, the terminal near Venice. Step out of the bus (the ride will take less than 1 hour) and walk towards the Grand Canal (less than 200m). Buy a ticket for the vaporettos and be in the middle of Venice before you know it. (Line 1 or 82 are the most used. They bring you to the most well known places.) When you count the meters you have walked since you have left the airplane, you will see you didn't walk more than 400m to reach the center of Venice...Enjoy your stay!
