This was a very modest, "correct" pension. The location was ideal, in the middle of the heart of Lisbon, near all the tourist areas. While it looks a tad seedy and rundown (eg. torn flags) on the outside, we found the hotel inside to be immaculate, if a bit old, with beautiful tile throughout. We had a room with a double bed, private toilet and teensy shower. French windows opened up to views of Rossio Square and the amusing Nigerian community that gathered to chat on the ramp in front of the hotel. Friday night, there was a bit of noise from outside.
