We arrived weary after travelling with two young children and we were greeted with a warm smile and a huge garden full of play things for the children.

Okalani is a wonderful concept for families, a large garden and playroom for the children and a comfortable house and wonderful food for the adults.

We sat on the terrace each evening and ate and drank local wine while our kids played to their hearts content. Nothing is too much trouble for hostess Sarah who is also the chef, the puddings are to die for.

Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable and the common areas were very welcoming.

The local scenery is wonderful, plenty of outdoor activities, canoeing on the river at the bottom of the garden, great for walking. Local outdoor and indoor swimming pool is great value and great fun with slides and activities for all.

Nearby are mountain lakes and and loads of places to visit.

All in all a fantastic holiday for everyone. Definitely be going back.
