It was very interesting. Nearly all of the walking area is similar to cobblestone streets. You have to be careful of your walking or it would be easy to twist an ankle. Unfortunately I would not recommend it for handicapped/in wheel chairs/using walkers. The view of the city from the castle is magnificent. If you are interested in medieval things, etc. this is the place to go. If you stray away from your tour guide there are so many tours going on you can just mingle in with another.
