Hurricane House was right on the beach. We had a fantastic time shelling and fishing all week long.

Hotel

The condo was 30 feet off the beach and elevated perfectly to give you a wonderful ocean view. A screened-in porch with fan provided a perfect place for your morning coffee before a stroll along the beach. We had two bedrooms: a master downstairs and the other upstairs with twin beds. Both had their own baths. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a small washer and dryer. The only things missing were laundry and dishwashing soap. Also, this condo does not have the typical complimentary toiletry items. So come prepared.

Restaurant

Wonderful atmosphere. The food was wonderful, with the best New England chowder and fried shrimp on the island. If you go early, they have special reduced pricing. Reservations are not required if you go early, but it starts filling up by 6:30, so you may have to wait.

Shells galore
You can find many different types of shells on the island. It's nice and relaxing wandering up and down the beaches, looking for shells. We found many shells on the west side of the island and near the lighthouse.
