Kaira Konko is operated by the local Scout troop and has very clean accommodation.
There are two rooms, one with a double bed and the other with twin beds, both with en suite bathrooms, in a stand alone building within the protection of the site.
The main building has 5 rooms with a shared bathroom and for larger groups bunk beds can be arranged in the hall.
There is a kitchen where the staff will cook food by prior arrangement.
Laundry can also be arranged with the staff on site as well.
This is by far the best accommodation I have found on the main road through Gambia and the welcome form the Scouts is something special.
