St. George and three great national parks.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit on the first floor. It generally was quiet with the exception of a small child either jumping off some furniture or dropping a heavy object above us. The unit was very clean and supplied well with necessary items. The decor fit in well with the desert environment. We had the usual patio with a gas BBQ, table and chairs. The recreation area next door was being remodeled, so we had a short walk to a near-by one. The staff was very helpful regarding our questions and when called to fix a small problem in the restroom they were there immediately. The kitchen was well supplied with the usual items.

While at St. George we visited three national parks. Our first was Zion! We loved the free shuttle that took us to all the stops. We hiked a few trails and saw a wonderful film at the visitor center. Next we drove to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I would guess that we were on the road nearly three hours to and from our great experience at the North Rim. Lastly we experienced Bryce Canyon. It, also, was quite a drive; but, what great scenery. While in the area we ventured to Snow Canyon State Park which is just a few minutes from the resort. Also, we spent time at the wildlife museum in St. George and just a few minutes from the resort. Here we saw examples of wildlife from around the world. It was an excellent stop well worth the price of admission. Not being of the Mormon faith, we toured the local tabernacle and had a wonderful guide. He was most respectful of our wishes.
