My husband and I just got back from Costa Rica and LOVED IT. The people are incredibly nice. We went sport fishing on the Don Manuel (
www.northpacifictours) with Daniel, the captain and Danny (first mate). Their boat is located in Playa Hermosa and we fished in the Papagayo Gulf, beautifu. My husband and I were able to keep the Dorado and Yellow fin we caught which Danny cleaned for us right there on the boat. The food and snacks they had on the boat was great and they also had plenty of drinks! And of course the Costa Rica pineapple is amazing. My husband and I met another couple who had gone fishing on a different panga for less money and they were not happy. There was only water on the boat with very little shading plus the equipment was much older and poor quality. I made reservations over the Internet and was in contact with Lisa who answered all my questions about Costa Rica and pointed us in the right direction of which restaurants to eat at in the area. If you are looking for some serious fishing and at an inexpensive price, I would check them out. I also noticed that in our hotel, for the same size boat they were charging more than than what we paid, so beware of being overcharged. We had a fabulous time!
