I am completing an EMBA and our fifth module is on Risk and Emerging Economies so Sao Paulo was the choice for the module.

Nightclubs (General)Best of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Nightclubs"

All three clubs played various forms of house or techno, so you need to be into electronic music or these are not the clubs for you. d-edge was a good club great sound system and great light show. Club was generally a young crowd. Too many guys standing around drinking on the dance floor oggling the opposite sex. Music was excellent, I would recommend this club to a mainstream clubber in the UK (equivalent to The End in London). There was a great system with a card which you put all drinks on and pay for everything as you leave. Staff were friendly. Club Love was OK, crowd was a bit uptight, DJ was good but the general vibe took some time to hit a good club standard. Inside is a bit worn and you can tell the place has been around for a while. Vegas was recommended to me by a local and all I can say is WOW. Very underground good mix of gay and straight, lots of tattoos and generally a ruff edge to the place. Music was a bit crude at first but eventually was excellent. I ended up getting grinded by a great looking local before the boyfriend end the party. All three clubs offered something different, I felt like I had a good cross section of Sao Paulo after the clubs and restaurants.
