Overview

Highlight is Golden Gate Bridge, arriving there in the evening before sunset was the best, was able to see the clear city view and the bridge without having sun all in our eyes.Thursday we arrived and went to Pier 39, then Ghirardelli Square, then Alcatraz, then rode Cable car to Lombard Street, then got dropped off at Chinatown, then got lost and ended up in Little Italy (best way to find it I guess), then walked to Coit Tower, saw whole city view from top of it. Walk up the hills was a killer, but totally worth it.Comes Friday morning - woke up took the free shuttle from hotel to Union Square... shopped, then got back to hotel and dropped of what we bought, took the bus to Alamo Squa...Read More

Hotel is so close by uptwon San Francisco, nice decent size room, very friendly service and friendly staff. The hotel provided a free shuttle to Union Square (Shopping mecca in San Francisco), drivers were so nice... by far the best shuttle service ever... hotel is close to Muni Train station, which made it easy to travel from airport to the hotel and hotel to airport. Free Shuttle from hotel to union square made almost everything walkable... it was nice having that service.

On Saturday we were just hanging out at union square to kill time before flying back home.

Discovered Korean Day Festival, lot of food, and lots of different performances going on. We saw them do dances, play music, sing songs, some of their own native, some westernized (hip-hop). It was very neat to see all and smell was distinct, but interesting experience. We spent about 3 hours there.
