When you find the trailhead, which is not obvious, as it is not signposted, you have overcome your major difficulty. The path takes you first around a nice little lake and then reaches a ski-lift (hence the name skifjell). From there you don't need a trail anymore: there is one, but it keeps disappearing: just follow the ski-lift. From where this ends you only have to keep waling up until you reach the highest point: views are simply superb! You can see the sea from a 360° angle - and what a sea: it has all the hues of greens and blues that you can imagine - very tropical, yet above the Arctic Circle. You can also admire the surrounding mountains, which are all very dramatic, steep and rocky.
