Story/Tip

The first time I went to Egypt I fulfilled my dreams. Since my childhood I always had dreamt of visiting Egypt, probably because as Mediterranean citizen I know that a great part of our culture comes from ancient civilizations like Egyptian, Greek and of course Roman. All the modern cities, old cities and now ruins, valleys, tombs, etc… that I visited were for me different experiences that I lived in a different way. Many of them aroused in me feelings that I thought impossible. One of these feelings that I remember very well took place in Aswan, when I visited the sand hill in front of the city where is buried the Aga Khan, the Imam of the Ismailis, I felt a certain jealousy, and then I thought that it was the only place in the World where I would rest in peace.
