Japanese Dinner to Celebrate

Time to try a new Japanese Steakhouse.

My wife and I love sushi and Japanese cooking, so we decided to try this Japanese steakhouse near us. We had never been there before, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is decorated like many Japanese places I have been to; it is a simple and clean style that lets you know that you are in an Asian restaurant. The entire dining area is divided into 2 separate rooms. The larger room is where all the Hibachi grills are located; the other rooms is where the sushi chef and bar are located. We ate at the hibachi grill. There were several other people that came in after us at the grill, so it took a little while for the chef to come out. While we were waiting, we ordered sushi, which was delivered quickly. The show that the chef put on while cooking was average. I have seen better, but I have also seen worse. Food was pretty good, but nothing exceptional. The prices were about average for this type of restaurant. Service was a little slow, but that could have been because it was a busy time and they seemed understaffed. Overall, I would recommend this place to people who like Japanese food, just don't expect a lot that you haven't seen before.
