Overview

Seeing the ships at Mystic Seaport.

Quick Tips:

Mystic Seaport is a member of AAA and has AAA Show Your Card & Save and also a AAA Gem Attraction.

Best Way To Get Around:

Car, then walk around the Seaport and Village.
It is a seaport fast food restaurant, compared to Long John Silvers, but it is not Long John Silvers. They have Coke products. You can even get land food, such as chicken and fries, like McDonald's, Arby's, Wendy's, and Chick-fil-a. Actually, those national chains are not on Mystic Seaport property. It was good.

Attraction

It is off Interstate 95, and to get to it you cross a drawbridge. There is a mill, a store on what people used to buy when they went out to sea. A museum with masts and a church. There are several ships that can be boarded. There is even one with narrow stairs that are slippery so be careful. Also, there is a lighthouse, but you can't go into it. Several peoples homes you can tour. There were even horses. I enjoyed my day at Mystic Seaport.

They have a large gift shop that has a gallery, postcards, candy with major national candy bars such as Hershey, DVDs and Video has something to do with the sea and more. There are several vending machines throughout the park serving Coke products. There is even a Dasani water vending machine. Also, there is a chapel that plays a hyam and a sermon on tape. There are also docks here so be careful.
