You must take a tour of the island to a real feel for Barbados. You can take a safari ride in a jeep like vehicle or you can take an air-conditioned bus with a tour guide.

Quick Tips:

The concierge has many specials for events around the island. No need to purchase tickets prior to arrival.

Best Way To Get Around:

We used taxi's to get around. It is best to share with friends to help cut the expense. Regular round trips to town were .

The accommodations were excellent. We loved the room, the views, the peace, the staff was extremely warm and accommodating.

The beach was absolutely beautiful and the water was warm and a clear blue/green. The cool white sand was pristine.

Story/Tip

This was truly the most beautiful vacation that we have been on in years. Last year we spent 10 days in Honolulu Hawaii at the Hilton Hawaiian Village; a 5-star facility. We both agreed that the warmth and the atmosphere at the Crane are hands down better than Honolulu. If you like peace and tranquility and a place to relax and unwind from the hectic pace of life The Crane is the perfect place for you.

We found the staff to be very helpful from the baggage handlers at the Airport to the bellhops at the Crane. The King size bed in the junior garden suite that we had was a bit high for my wife to comfortable get in and out of. I made mention of this while in the hotel lobby and upon return a step stool was in the room. The suite made us feel that we were in our own private Oasis. The hotel staff was very warm and accommodating.

The pool was soothing. The restaurant was great. Crane Beach was absolutely beautiful. I enjoyed every moment in the beach. The clear blue green water and cool white sand with no rocks or seaweed was wonderful. The resort beach attendant even came by to sweep the sand from my beach lounger for me. The beach was nice and clean with no litter in sight.
