My favorite thing to do in LA is to see the movie and TV stars. The best way to see them is to go see TV show tapings. They are all free, you just have to go and book in advance on websites such as tvtickets.com. Be warned though, a taping is about a 4 to 6 hour experience. But it's a lot of fun if you are the type to get starstruck. For shows filmed at the WB studio, you also get to get autographs with the cast members after. Other great ways to see stars is to go to restaurants they frequent, though this can be pricey.

Quick Tips:

Be prepared for traffic everywhere. You have to keep that in mind when you plan your day, it is pretty much unavoidable.

Best Way To Get Around:

Best transportation is public transportation, if possible. Or else by car, but there will be traffic.

This place is the best cookie place ever. If you are in the area, you must go. All day long, this place bakes fresh cookies and the line is always out the door, no matter what time it is. Don't let the line discourage you, because they are super fast inside. The cookies are amazing, and the best part is that they are cheap! They cost about $.35 a cookie. They also have great ice-cream sandwiches. Most of the cookies are some variation of chocolate chip.
