2 Weeks in Cabo

A June 2006 trip to Cabo San Lucas by mlove_999

Cabo San Lucas area for two weeks on a scuba diving trip and vacation. Went north 90 minutes to Cabo Pulmo, a beautiful dive site in a coral preserve.

We had a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath with a fantastic ocean view. Beds were very comfortable, excellent decor, very spacious, with two balconies overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Floors were marble and bathrooms were all marble with glass shower enclosure. The resort was the most beautiful I have stayed at. Very clean and well kept. Four large beautiful pools. A large Jacuzzi on a point overlooking the ocean was fantastic. There are hammocks positioned throughout the resort where you can relax with a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful.

Very good and safe equipment. Very safe dives and professional dive masters. Safety stop for 5 minutes on every dive. Dive master took the hand of a nervous diver and would lead her throughout the dives so that she was able to enjoy the experience. Very friendly and knowledgeable dive staff. Saw beautiful formations and lots of colorful fish, octopus, sea snake, rays, etc.

Excellent food and drinks. Great service. Lots of signs and jokes on the walls. Crowded in the evenings. Family oriented during the day and early evening. Great place to just sit and people watch.
