I took a girls trip to New York City. We wanted to see the sights on a cheap budget!

We drove up in the taxi to a beautiful motel with all the whistles. The bellhop immediately came to the cab and took our bags. As we entered the building to the luxurious atrium we quickly were checked in and headed to our room. We arrived to our room and found a well laid out and comfy quarters for our stay. In a few moments our luggage arrived with a very polite and helpful young man. When we would return to our room in the evening, the beds would be turned down in style. When it came time for us to depart, again, the check out was smooth and the bell hops polite and very helpful, even at 4am!

It was about 8pm and we decided to see the city from up top of the city. We were warned the we would be standing in line, we were pleasantly surprised. The line was only about a thirty minute wait...so we thought! We bought our tickets and headed to the elevator. We were do excited to get up there. Then...then we got off and stood in another line for a picture to be taken. We knew we were not interested in the picture but could not forgo the line. Finally, 45 minutes later, we were up top. The view is amazing. There were many people up top, but, every one was kind. The view is spectacular. Worth the money, approx. $16.00. The lights of the city are incredible! If only they could get rid of the lines for the pics....We had to stand in line coming back down to view the picture we knew we didn't want!!!
