Jagdish Temple
This Jagannath temple with a different name in Udaipur is known as Jagdish temple.
It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651. The foothold of the Jagdish temple steps has two spotless white elephants on both the sides to greet you to the temple. Maharana Pratap Memorial is a historic monument in Udaipur. The statue of Maharana Pratap riding his favorite horse Chetak is made up of bronze. Chetak, the horse of Maharana was considered very faithful to him.
