There are still a few places in Japan where the ancient art of cormorant fishing continues to be practiced. For how long, no one knows. So of course I had to set out to try it. My guide was my goodwill guide, and he was more than willing to go, as he had never been. By communicating with him via email ahead of time, he was able to procure reservations.Before going to the boat, we went to the food mail under Nagoya station and bought a variety of things to eat.
