A bit dated, but in a great location, near the Gaalleria Mall. Le Cafe is on of its resturants and it is so-so. There is another one that serves a seafood buffet on Friday nights for $38 pp and includes 2 lobsters. And a Sunday brunch for $38. But there is a coupon in one of the tourist books with 7 or so bucks off. The health club is complimentary if you are on the consierges floor and includes work-out equipment and outside/inside pool and jacuzzi in, steam room in men''s locker, sauna in ladies. Opens at 5:30 am., closes at 10. Pillows are terrific and mattresses comfy, the most comprehensive amenity pack you will find with comb, sewing kit, shampoo, toothbrush, shampoo, conditioner, and lotio...Read More

An incredible experience! Bowls of goldfish swim suspended above you. There is a bar table with built-in candleabras and the food is exquisite. This is no place for children, get a sitter! The dessert is fabulous and makes for a memorable experience.

We enjoyed a wondrous breakfast in the hotel dining room. Very special! Fresh squeezed orange juice or apple juice fresh pressed! Lots of different items you don't see on every menu for beginning your day. If you do choose to go in the evening, be prepared to pay big bucks and jackets are required for men, it doesn't matter how much $$ you have, you WILL be turned away if your man doesn't wear one! Order the lobster tacos.

This has been written up in every guide book known to man. It is world-famous and deservedly so. Tubs of your choice of colas in the bottle iced down await your selection. The barbeque pork is my favorite, but if beef is your thing, go for it! The sides are as good as they look.

Kimbell Art Museum

Attraction | "The Kimball Museum"

Quote:
What a great museum, definitly worth a visit to cowtown, as Ft. Worth is generally known. Impressionists are my thing and it has its share. It's light and bright and not overwhelming to the extent you feel like you could never see it all. A great museum shop! We bought a print to bring home and a small print on a mini-easel to set on a desk.

To market, to market to buy....

Story/Tip

Ok, so I have a friend who could get me into "MARKET". All the interior designers are there with their small suitcases on rollers, there is probably some professional name for it, but that is what it looks like! The prices are not bargain basement by any means, but incredible quality abounds. Of course you must pay up front and order it to be delivered to a business or warehouse wherever you live which takes forever. I bought a gorgeous wine table and bed with glass end tables, but when they arrived, no glass! I was told they didn't come with glass, although they had glass in them on display, so I got to hunt up a place where I live that cuts glass and take them there to have it made. Oh well! I...Read More
