Food on T&C can be expensive.

An August 2006 trip to Providenciales by cargo13

Food in Provo, Turks & Caicos can be a challenge for the budget traveler and the family with picky kid eaters. Seafood, albeit local, is very expensive. Expect to pay $18-plus for a bowl of pasta.

Breakfast at the Bay Bistro in the Sibonne Hotel in Provo is a real find. On Saturdays and Sundays, they offer a brunch menu of 7+ items at $15. The banana pancakes are great. Folks living on the island flood the restaurant on the weekends attesting to its credibility.

Baci's RistoranteBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant

Baci's is located at the end of Turtle Cove Marina, behind Shark Bites. There is free, safe parking at the entrance of the restaurant (there is a video store across the parking lot). Tables, outside, line the marina waterway so its scenic as boats return from the day's trip. Menu is mix of Italian and seafood (Caribbean). Daily chef specials include the catch of the day. Pizza is a real bargain at $14 for a medium. They also offer pizza to go.
