And I Thought I Was Going to Be Bored in Plano, TX

An April 2006 trip to Plano by delilah71

I went here for a week because of work, and was quite surprised at what a charming city it is.

I had to travel to Plano for business and was surprised by how expensive the hotels were, so that's why I chose this one. I was a bit disappointed because I felt that this place was a little bit run down. The carpet was dingy, the walls had marks on them, and the bathroom had old fixtures. The bed, however, was comfortable, and that is an important thing when travelling for business. I'd recommend staying at the Marriott (at the Shops at Legacy) if you are given a choice in the matter

This is a great place to eat lunch. I was especially happy that they had brown rice to offer. The food was fresh and tasty and I especially enjoyed the fact that it was quick since I was on lunch. Do not even think about trying to get in right at noon, though. Make sure you go before or after then, because the line will be out the window!
