A travel journal to Middlebury by HamaRN

A quaint little town! Plenty to do and see here and it is pretty close to other Connecticut attractions.

I would walk, bike, or jog on the walking trail that runs through town. I would also visit Quassy Amusement Park with the kids and take them to the new Truck Museum on Route 188.

Quick Tips:

Best Way To Get Around:

I recommend you have a vehicle to drive around in. Middlebury is a small town, but I don't think I would want to walk around everywhere. Unless you're in great shape!!

Wonderful place to eat. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. You can bring kids here as well. They do have a "children menu". It is not a large place, but it is comfortable. They have booths as well as tables with chairs.

It's a small amusement park that younger children seem to enjoy. A moderate amount of walking is involved, but not as much as other places. Lots of benches to sit down on.
