The Canal in Bricktown is a very lovely experience. Frontier city is a small but nice amusement park in the Oklahoma City area.

Quick Tips:

Oklahoma City covers a large area so don't get lost!

Best Way To Get Around:

In the downtown area walking or riding the trolley is the best means of travel. But outside of that immediate area traveling by car is the only way to go.

Restaurant | "Spaghetti Warehouse"

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with a distinct Italian flair. The food was good and very appetizing. It's in a very nice location in the heart of Bricktown which has many other activities for before and after your meal.

This is a very beautiful attraction. Even if you don't want to ride the the water taxi around, the trail that follows it is just as good. Both have their own advantages. When riding you get to hear historic information about the city and interesting people that have to do with it. When walking the trail you have to opportunity to stop and go to the many shops and restaurants around where you are.

Attraction

The Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is listed as one of the top in the nation, having a large collection in animals and plants. The OKC Zoo has some very nice exhibits making this a very highly recommended attraction if you are in the Oklahoma City area.

Every mid-Sept the great State Fair of Oklahoma comes out. This year (2006) they will be celebrating their 100th year. This is great for fun with friends and family. Plenty of rides, games, shows (Disney on Ice, concerts, car shows), and great food. This year will probably be even better since it will be its 100th year.
