Wok King Cafe is our favorite Chinese restaurant. It is a small, family-owned business. The employees are nice and they have good service. There usually isn't much of a wait to be seated.

The egg drop soup is really good. I also really like the sweet and sour pork and the chicken chow mein. The fried jumbo shrimp and egg rolls are good. They serve red cocktail sauce and spicy yellow sauce with it. The yellow sauce will clear out your sinuses for a week, it is so strong. The prices are reasonable and usually under $10 a person. They also have take-out.

Ruby TuesdayBest of IgoUgo

Ruby Tuesday is kind of a copycat restaurant of Ruby River. Ruby River is much better food. Ruby Tuesday has sandwiches, hamburgers, and regular American meals. I always like to get the Church Street Chicken, which is a honey-mustard chicken. The salad bar isn't very good. It is mostly just lettuce and salad dressing. We got the salad bar once, and we thought it was a waste of money. The meals are all about $10 and up. The service is sometimes good, and sometimes bad. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to wait at least half an hour to be seated.

Golden CorralBest of IgoUgo

Golden Corral is a buffet restaurant. They serve the typical buffet side dishes, salads, and desserts. However, they also serve steaks, shrimp, and other meat that is not typical of most buffets. The food is pretty good. There's not really a wait to be seated, but there is a wait to get to the cashier that you must pay first. It may be up to half an hour of standing in line at the busiest times. The drinks are not included with the buffet. It costs about $10 a person before drinks. The food is good, and it is worth going to once in a while. It isn't my favorite restaurant.

Veterans Memorial ParkBest of IgoUgo

Wild West Playground
The Veteran's Memorial Park has the largest children's playgound in the state. It is called the Wild West Playground. It has a toddler area and an area for older children.

Besides the large playground, there are also three other smaller playgrounds. There are a lot of picnic tables and a large pavillion. There are many shade trees and a lot of grassy areas. There are basketball courts, tennis courts, and baseballs fields. There is a new rodeo area. There is a sidewalk going around the main park area, so it's a great place to run or walk.

Attraction | "Gardner Historic Village"

Gardner Historic Village has a lot of little shops that were made out of restored pioneer buildings. Most of the shops are boutique or crafts. I have actually never purchased anything at most these shops because it is not my type of stuff and it is expensive. However, it is fun to look through the shops. The candy shop has some yummy candy and treats and they usually have samples of it too. There is also a restaurant called Archibald's.

Cinemark at Jordan LandingBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

The Cinemark at Jordan Landing has at least 16 movies theaters. The theaters aren't that old and are quite nice. They have stadium seating and nice cushy chairs. The sounds system is great. Tickets are about $7.50 a person. Since there's usually a lot of theaters playing the same movie, it is pretty easy to get in to the movie you want. The exception would be popular movies on opening night. There's also an arcade and a lot of stores and restaurants nearby.
