Along the way to Oak Island we stopped at wake forest. Wakes campus is beautiful. They have a ton of money in there endowment. They have a Frisbee golf course! Yes you through you Frisbee into a trash can looking thing, they even had score cards. It was a par three course it still cracks me up.
Next stop we went to Elon. The campus is even more beautiful than wakes. The buildings aren't as nice but the are still very nice. Elon is getting a tram soon that runs on pure vegetable oil! the campuses were both very nice. I personally liked Elon better though.
So we got to Oak Island, NC (finally), and it was beautiful. We stayed in a beach house that was very nice. It is normally more secluded of a beach, but people have found out about it and it is growing rapidly. It is no where near as crowded as myrtle though, Which is very nice.
