Overview

Catch the downtown laser show, shown every night. High Class shopping in Central. Lower class shopping in Prince Edward.

Quick Tips:

Do not buy food from the sidewalk vendors. It is humid, so stay hydrated.

Best Way To Get Around:

MTR, the local subway. Do not rent a car unless you have to.

FairwoodBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant

My girlfriend and I frequented this fast food chain as it served American food as well as Chinese food. The food was excellent for the price and it was standard among the multiple Fairwood's that we went to. It was a great place to go to, to rest and break from the hot weather. Clientele ranged from families to business men who wanted a quick bite. Their main decor is the color orange...everywhere. Orange walls, seats tables, to food trays.

Victoria PeakBest of IgoUgo

Attraction | "Victorias Peak"

The highest point of Hong Kong. Taking the bus up to the peak is well worth the awesome view of Hong Kong. Another great place to go to see the lights and laser show in Hong Kong. As with most of Hong Kong, there are places to shop at the top of the peak.

If you have never been to any other Disneyland's this is a good place to go. It is much smaller than Anaheim or Disney World. I have been to Anaheim at least 15 times and was disappointed by Hong Kong Disneyland's 3 lands [compared to 8+]. Judging the lands individually, they are pretty nice. The restaurants in the park is the only part better than those in the US.

Story/Tip

Really scenic part on the Kowloon side, facing Hong Kong across the bay. Great to walk along during the night to see the vast skyline and waterfront. LED lit stars show off the names of famous Chinese Actors and Singers.
