Gusher Pizza & Sandwich ShoppeBest of IgoUgo

Restaurant | "The Gusher"

The Gusher advertises that they are a family-friendly restaurant. They sell pizza and sandwiches. Their service was terrible. We asked for things, and they never were brought to us. They messed up on our pizza and when I complained, they said "sorry" but didn't do anything to correct the problem. We wished that we had gone somewhere else instead.

Attraction | "Old Faithful Geyser"

Rocky area near Old Faithful
Old Faithful goes off almost hourly. There are benches and sidewalks in the area. If you get there early enough before the geyser goes off, you may get a good view of the geyser. Even if you aren't right up front, the geyser is large enough and shoots high enough that you will still definitely be able to see it. Our kids thought it was really cool, but they lost interest in watching it after a few minutes. If it is windy, you may get a little damp breeze blowing on you. But, you won't get burned because unless you go where you aren't supposed to, there's plenty of distance between spectators and the geyser. We saw moose wandering around near the geyser area.

Attraction | "Lower Falls - Grand Canyon of Yellowstone"

Picture of Lower Falls
The Lower Falls in the "Grand Canyon of Yellowstone" is a must-see if you are going to Yellowstone. The waterfall is so awesome to see. The beautiful rocks around it make it quite a sight. There are quite a few different points to see the waterfall from. Some require a little hiking, and some don't require much hiking at all.

Upper FallsBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Before we even got to the lookout point for the Upper Falls in the "Grand Canyon of Yellowstone" we could hear the water roaring. It was a cool sight to see. You almost feel like you are close enough to reach down and touch the water. The Upper Falls are not quite as spectacular as the Lower Falls.

Gibbons FallsBest of IgoUgo

Attraction

Gibbons Falls is a waterfall that is easy to find and easy to see. It is just off the road when you take the southern part of the loop from West Yellowstone, MT. It is a pretty waterfall, but not as magnificent as some of the other waterfalls in Yellowstone. Since it is just off the road, there's not a parking lot, just parking on the side of the road.
