New Year's in LAS VEGAS

Quick Tips:

I have been to Vegas in both the winter and summer, and the best time that I ever had was for New Year's in 2004. While it is very crowded it makes the experience that much more fun. It is not a place to be with small children during this time of the year. I would recommend that if people want to experience Vegas when it is not so hot go for New Years and you will still have an awesome time.

Best Way To Get Around:

The best and probably safest way, depending on age, to get around Vegas is to take a taxi. My best suggestion would be just to stay in one of the Hotels on the strip then you are just able to walk and not worry about a thing.

It was great to go to Vegas during a time of the year that has comfortable weather, and where everyone is out in true form. While I do not have to stay in hotel, thanks to my in-laws, I still experience many of the activities. During this particular trip we went and saw the Blue Man Group. This was an unbelievably good time. I was not sure what to expect, but I would recommend to anyone that this is a wonderful show to see and for a very reasonable price compared to many of the other shows.
