This place has some great clam chowder and is right on the pier. Watch out for those seagulls, they'll take the food right out of your mouth! They try to keep their prices as low as possible, but I still think it's a little pricey. I don't go to Santa Barbara all the time, but when I do, I like to eat here.

When I went they had this amazing chalk art competition. There were people of all ages and the art was amazing. I don't know if they always have things going on.

Old Town Santa Barbara is a great place to walk around and shop. After you have had a big meal, it's nice to take a walk and digest. There are many shops and it was very busy on the weekend.

You can download the map and take this self-guided tour. The map shows you all the historic places in the area. Remember to bring your comfortable walking shoes, but because it's pretty long. it's one of the few free things a person/family can do in Santa Barbara.
