Quote: We have annual passes for Busch Gardens and decided to take a last-minute trip up to the Orlando area and go to Busch Gardens for a couple of days.

Ark

Restaurant | "The Ark"

Quote:
This is a great little restaurant. It is a buffet with all-you-can-eat lobster and shrimp as well as pork, turkey, and chicken. They have a salad buffet, many desserts (including about eight varieties of homemade ice cream), and many side-dish items, like mashed potatoes and macaroni-and-cheese.

Seminole Indian Village

Attraction | "Native Village"

Quote:
It is like a petting zoo kind of thing, but it is more scaled down and not as busy. Children can learn all about snakes and alligators from the Native Americans.

Lion Country Safari Campground and RV Resort

Hotel | "Lion Country Safari Camping"

Quote:
The campground is awesome. It is very clean and there are no ants. There are places to have BBQs and make smores, and there are clean restroom facilities. Also, in the morning you can hear the lions roaring.

Butterfly World

Attraction

Quote:
When you go inside, there are butterflies flying everywhere. If you're lucky, one might land on you. There is also an area for bird-feeding where you can buy the little cups of nectar and feed a bird. The best part is at the end, when you can buy a pupa to take home, watch it hatch into a butterfly, and then let it go at your house.

Sun Splash Family Waterpark

Attraction | "SunSplash Waterpark"

Quote:
This is one of the best water parks. There is so much to do. The only downfall is that because it is so nice, it is often crowded during the summer. There is an area just for little kids, a lazy river, and inner-tube slides.

Zoo Miami

Attraction | "Metro Zoo"

Quote:
There is so much to do at Metro Zoo. The park is clean, and because it is so large, it is not crowded. However, there is not a lot of shade, so in the summer, be sure to wear sunscreen and bring a hat. What is nice is that there is a monorail that runs through the zoo, so when you get tired, you can hop on the monorail and get a great view/tour of the park.

They put on the best 4th of July fireworks show! Very clean, with a pier where you can buy souvenirs and ice cream. There are plenty of hotels around.
